Privacy policy
At we want you to feel safe when you visit us online. Here you can read how we use cookies, what personal data we collect, why we do so and how we protect it.
1. Introduction
When you visit our website, we collect information about your visit in order to:
- adapt and improve the content of the site
- make our marketing more relevant to you
- give you a better, smoother experience
If you don't want us to collect this information, you can delete or block cookies (see section 4) and stop using the site.
2. What are cookies?
A cookie is a small text file stored on your computer, tablet or phone when you visit a website. Cookies are used to:
- recognise you when you return
- remember your choices and settings
- collect statistics so we can improve the site
- show you ads and content that suit you
A cookie cannot contain viruses or other harmful code. It simply makes it easier for your browser and our site to talk to each other.
3. How we use cookies
We use both our own cookies (first-party) and cookies from partners (third-party) for three purposes:
Functional cookies
Make the site work and remember your choices – for example that you've confirmed your age and what's in your cart.
Statistics cookies
Help us understand how the site is used so we can improve content and features. For this we may use Google Analytics or a similar tool that shows which pages are visited and for how long.
Marketing cookies
Used by us and our partners to make ads more relevant and to make sure you don't see the same ad again and again.
4. How to delete or block cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser at any time. See a guide at minecookies.org/cookiehandtering.
Please note that the site may not work as intended if you block or delete cookies. You may also see ads that are less relevant and appear more often.
5. What personal data do we collect?
When you use the site, we collect two kinds of information:
- Information that cannot be traced back to you: for example your IP address, browser type, technical information about your device, your approximate location and which pages you click on.
- Information that can be traced back to you: information you give us yourself with your consent – for example when you shop, sign up for a newsletter or contact us. This may be your name, email, phone number, address and payment details.
6. Security
We process your information in accordance with applicable law, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Danish Data Protection Act. The information is treated confidentially, and we have technical and organisational security measures that protect it from being deleted, altered, disclosed, misused or seen by unauthorised persons.
7. Why do we collect information?
- To recognise you and give you a more personal experience on the site.
- To deliver what you ask for – for example your orders, newsletters and competitions.
- To make the site better and easier to use, partly based on statistics about how it is used.
- To show you ads that are relevant to you.
8. How long do we keep the information?
We only keep your personal data for as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires – for example the Danish Bookkeeping Act. How long depends on the type of information and why we have it. When we no longer need the information, we delete or anonymise it.
9. Who do we share information with?
We may share information about how you use the site – for example which ads you see and click on, your approximate location, gender and age group – with our advertising partners, if the information is available. This is so you can get more relevant ads. Read more in section 3.
We also use external suppliers (data processors) to store and process data, for example for hosting, payment and shipping. They may only use the information on our behalf and on our instructions – never for their own purposes. We only share your name and email if you have expressly agreed to it. We only use suppliers in the EU or in countries that protect data as well as the EU.
10. Your rights
You always have the right to:
- Access: be told what information we hold about you.
- Rectification: have incorrect or incomplete information corrected.
- Erasure: have your information deleted when we no longer have a legitimate need for it.
- Restriction: in certain cases have the processing of your information restricted.
- Objection: object to the processing – especially when it comes to direct marketing.
- Data portability: receive your information in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
To use your rights or if you have questions about how we process your data, write to .
If you are unhappy with how we process your data, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency.
